In 2017, I had rhinoplasty with silicone + septal cartilage, but I decided on revision surgery because of columellar deviation, nostril asymmetry, and something like an implant? cartilage? protruding inside my nostril. The director said that while we were at it, we should also raise the drooped nasal tip a bit, so I had surgery on November 19. The materials used were silicone and ear cartilage, and when they opened it up, my septum had collapsed, so they corrected the columella as straight as possible and removed the cartilage? that was protruding inside the nose. After surgery, without missing a single day, I took front-view, oblique/side-view videos and photos, but the line from the glabella -> nasal bridge -> nasal tip did not connect smoothly, the left nasal bridge looked sunken compared with the right nasal bridge, and from the front the nasal bridge and nasal tip were not in a straight line. The nostril asymmetry was still the same, and the columella also wasn’t corrected as much as I had expected, so I asked the director. He said some of it was because of swelling, and that he had done his best on all the areas I requested, so we should wait a little until the swelling went down. Every time I looked in the mirror I felt like I was losing my mind, but I held it in and waited for time to pass. Still, no matter how I looked at it, my nose seemed strange, so on day 17 I went back to the hospital and told them about the strange parts. They again said it was swelling and told me to wait, and said that if it still looked strange over time, they would do a revision, then told me to come back in a month, so I went home. But on day 20, the nasal bridge, which was the part I had asked the hospital about because I thought it was strange, suddenly became bumpy. When I touched it, it was hard, without any soft, fluid-like feeling, but the next day it went back down as if nothing had happened. So I contacted the hospital right away, and they said to come in today, day 24, so they could check the condition and that they might do revision surgery. I said okay and went to the hospital. They said the parts I had mentioned above that I was dissatisfied with, such as the nostril asymmetry, columellar deviation, and the cartilage? implant? protruding inside the nostril, had already been adjusted as much as possible during surgery, so they would prefer not to touch them anymore. They also said it might be better not to touch the nasal tip, and that because the starting point at the glabella was high, the nasal dorsum? area might not look smoothly connected, so they suggested lowering the silicone at the starting point of the glabella a little, replacing the silicone, and doing nasal irrigation. So I just had revision surgery by a closed approach. I worried a lot because it hadn’t been long since surgery, with scar tissue and inflammation and so on, but choosing to have the revision was the right decision, right...? I was so scared and worried that even though I had surgery again, I don’t feel relieved..
