It has been 11 years since I had nose surgery. Looking back now, I think I had the surgery in my late 20s without looking into the possible side effects of rhinoplasty and without much fear. Now I regret it, thinking I should have only raised the nasal bridge, left the nasal tip alone, and had chin augmentation surgery instead. First, my nose surgery was done with Gore-Tex + septal cartilage. My nostrils became uneven too, but since no one looks at my nostrils from below, I just let it go. But whenever I looked in the mirror by myself, it bothered me a bit... Maybe because a lot of time has passed, my nose also feels a bit shorter, and it looks like my nose is turned up. Especially from the front... It also seems like the uneven nostrils make my nose look crooked as my nose has gotten shorter. It was fortunate(?) that I was living abroad; otherwise, I probably would have touched my nose several times and other areas too ㅜ
Recently, after seeing news about someone dying during nose surgery, I’m also worried about revision surgery... Since I’m not in Korea either, I have to arrange consultations really urgently, and that worries me too. So first, as I joined this community, I’m posting this to level up.
I want to do facial contouring too (cheekbones and square jaw), but... that scares me too much... For now, I’m considering nose revision surgery (or removal?? I’m wondering whether Gore-Tex removal after 11 years is possible without contracture...), chin implant surgery... and I’m also thinking about revision eye surgery...
