I had it done in high school, and it’s already been 7 years. My swelling tends to last a long time, so for 2 years I heard a lot of things like, “Why did you do it?” and “You won’t be able to get married,” but now the sausage-like swelling has gone down a lot and the scar is barely visible. Since it was a full incision, eyeshadow is essential, though... The memory of having local anesthesia still remains traumatic!
