Be careful when getting eye surgery under sedation

At first, I thought they would put me under sedation and wake me up midway, but that wasn't the case. Aren't they supposed to check the line while asking you to open and close your eyes? But when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room. Thinking about it years later, I wonder if they kept me asleep like that to have a ghost surgery done. I had medial epicanthoplasty and non-incisional double eyelid surgery, but the medial epicanthoplasty is uneven and the double eyelids have completely come undone. When I went to the hospital and said the medial epicanthoplasty was uneven, they said it was because my eye shapes were different, but it's not an issue of shape. At a glance, one side is clearly opened wide and the other side is less opened. At least it was non-incisional, so that's a relief. If I had done an incisional method, it could have been much worse. I'm planning to get revision surgery, but choosing a hospital is so difficult.
