To introduce myself, I have always been naturally skinny, so my face has no volume, and I have a protruding mouth, a long face shape, and facial asymmetry. Protruding-mouth surgery and two-jaw surgery scare me... While I was 고민ing about it, an acquaintance told me that something called filler exists, so I went around for consultations. (Since I am naturally skinny, I thought collagen-stimulating treatments like Ellanse or Sculptra would have only a minimal effect, so I looked into hyaluronic acid fillers.) I visited ㅋㄷ, ㅇㅇㅇㅊ, and ㅁㄷㄹ.
1. ㅋㄷ I found this place after watching a YouTuber review video and visited. As soon as I entered, there were so~ many people waiting in the lobby. I thought I would consult with the director, but I consulted with a counseling staff member. I had a consultation about Q.O.Fill, and in my case they said 6 cc would probably be enough. They explained that it would be good to divide the injections between both sunken cheeks and the nasolabial folds, and because I had a slight retruded chin, they also recommended chin-tip filler. When I asked if it would make my face look longer, they said it would be placed in the front chin, so it would not make it look longer. That was all the brief guidance I received. It was exactly the same information about Q.O.Fill that I had picked up through Googling, so I wondered if I had requested the consultation for nothing. They asked if I would have the procedure right away, so I said I would visit next time and left. The consultation at ㅋㄷ felt very lacking somehow.
2. ㅇㅇㅇㅊ (English) While I was digging deeply into Q.O.Fill, I heard this place had the director who patented Q.O.Fill, so I went for an in-person consultation. The costs are not posted on the website, and on KakaoTalk only the Sculptra and Ellanse prices are listed... First, before visiting, I made an online inquiry. After being told it was 400,000 won per 1 cc, I applied for a consultation through KakaoTalk and visited. First of all, there was no consultation fee. When I had the in-person consultation, I received it from a counseling staff member. They asked whether I was taking any medication and whether I had orthodontic treatment, and while looking at the overall shape of my face, they also pointed out my facial asymmetry. According to the asymmetry, they said the areas lacking volume should be filled more, and while showing me the mirror and touching my cheeks, they explained in detail how many cc would likely go into the anterior cheeks, lateral cheeks, and nasolabial folds. They said, for now, let’s just put it in the anterior cheeks and nasolabial folds; even with only the anterior cheeks and nasolabial folds, I probably would not necessarily need injections in the lateral cheeks... And they said they would provide cobblestone-chin Botox as a service. They said to try it first and see the progress, guided me toward a total of 7 cc, and quoted 500,000 won per 1 cc. So when I said I had been told 400,000 won through the online consultation, they said it is originally 500,000 won, but they would do it for 400,000 won.............. If I had not done the online consultation, that could have been a big problem, right?ㅜ Anyway, after hearing that, I no longer felt like asking about Q.O.Fill. Also, even though they promote it as good because they patented it, I did find it suspicious that they did not bring it up first. Still, the consultation was thorough, so I trusted them more than ㅋㄷ.
3. ㅁㄷㄹ I got tired from continuing to dig into Q.O.Fill, so I decided to go safely with only hyaluronic acid, and this is the place I found. Before visiting, I had a KakaoTalk consultation, and they told me Restylane was 440,000 won per 1 cc including VAT, and if I got 3 cc or more, there would be a discount to 330,000 won per 1 cc. They said if I only received a consultation without having a procedure, it would be 20,000 won. On top of that, they said it would take one week until the consultation. I thought they must have a lot of people. I visited with high expectations, and I liked that the waiting area was an independent space. A counseling staff member came and showed me a video explaining filler, and after I finished watching the video, the director and counseling staff came in together??? I was so flustered. I had thought I could only see the doctor if I received a procedure????? After receiving the consultation, I understood why the wait for the consultation was long and why they charged a separate consultation fee. The counseling staff diligently wrote down the estimate the director gave, and after the director left, the counseling staff explained based on that... I really liked this part. It was not the counseling staff judging my face, but the doctor personally judging it, and that fact itself gave me confidence in the procedure and I felt their pride. The director here also pointed out the asymmetry, protruding mouth, and sunken cheek areas in detail. Here, they said there was no need to necessarily get filler in the nasolabial folds, and although it would be good to get the jaw area treated because of the asymmetry, since my face is on the long side, trying to match the symmetry could make it look longer. So they pinpointed only the sunken areas intensively and did not recommend anything more... I thought this was the place, so I proceeded with the procedure right away.
Since I have so little volume to begin with, I got the 3D lifting package. On the website, the package includes 10 cc, contour injections, Botox, this and that, but in my case those parts were unnecessary, so they removed them all and instead added more filler volume! Restylane was in a completely different price range, so I paid 2.2 million won and got Neuramisㅜㅜ Still, they said with hyaluronic acid fillers, there is not a big difference between imported and domestic products, and that hand technique is important, so I went for the domestic one! I got it today, so I will have to watch the progress, but so far I am satisfied. I still have some filler left that I have not received yet, so I will get more and come back with a review!!! haha
