My first double eyelid surgery took four or five hours I was a high school senior in the winter of 2016, and after the CSAT, I just went to the hospital where my friend had gotten hers done and had a consultation. Including epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, ptosis correction, and suture-method double eyelid surgery, it was 1.8 million won, I think…? It was pretty cheap, and my friend seemed to have turned out nicely, so I said okay. Not shopping around for clinics is what made the problem this serious. They said the surgery would take about 2 hours? but.. it took a whole four or five hours… And it was local anesthesia, not sedation, so being conscious for four or five hours was truly hell. Open your eyes~ close them~ look to the side~~ The operating room lights were dazzling, and even when I wanted to close my eyes, I couldn’t… Afterward, red scars were left from the lateral canthoplasty… Of course, my eyes got really big, but… Since my eyes were messed with for such a long time, after the surgery my corneas were completely damaged, so I got dry eye syndrome, my vision dropped a lot, and it got to the point where I’d wake up at night because my eyes were dry And even worse, after only 3 months one eye’s double eyelid came undone, so I got revision surgery, and then after another 3 months, the eye came undone again. But the funny thing is that my friend who had it done at the same place also had her double eyelid come undone the same way lol Thanks to that, I ended up with dry eye syndrome and an eye with the double eyelid undone Because of the dry eye syndrome, I also get styes really often.. I got a chalazion and had surgery 3 times over 6 months.. I really hope others get surgery from a doctor whose surgery time is short… Long surgery times are really bad for the cornea.. —— That hospital is gone now! (Maybe it became known for being terrible at surgery? ㅡㅡ;) It was a hospital near Guro Digital Complex Station..

멜료 Whoa, I think mine also took about that long when I got double eyelid surgery, and these days I live with dry eye syndrome.. I thought if they looked carefully it was better, and that I didn’t mind even if it took a long time, actually I liked it more, but surgery time is really important
