After getting nose filler a few times, I wanted to lift the nasal tip too, so I had a Hiko procedure. The clinic said nasal tip filler was dangerous and discouraged it, then recommended Hiko. They marketed it by saying the nasal tip would be lifted tautly with threads, so I got it done.
During the process, it hurt a lot when the threads were inserted. With filler, it just felt like little pricks, but tears were streaming down ㅜㅜ There was some bleeding too ㅠㅠ
In the end, I was satisfied, and my nasal tip was pulled up sharply, but the effect didn’t last that long. After about a month? I don’t know if I just got used to it, but the nasal tip seemed to go back to something similar. It did last a bit longer than when I got nose filler alone.
The most uncomfortable part was that the thread came down; Right after the procedure, should I call it the flesh inside the mouth at the philtrum area? I could feel the shape of the thread with my tongue in the inside of my mouth under the nose, and if I flipped my lip and looked inside my mouth, I could see the thread showing through. When I asked the clinic, they said that can happen and that if it was really uncomfortable, they could remove that thread, but I was scared to go back to the clinic, so I just endured it. Now, if I run my tongue over that area, I can feel traces where the thread became fibrotic.... My friend also said she could feel one thread in her nostril and eventually pulled it out, so I guess there are cases where the threads poke out a bit like this.
Also, maybe the cannula was large, but a small raised scar like a pimple was left on my nasal tipㅋㅋ
Anyway, it’s more dramatic than getting filler alone, but since Hiko was painful, expensive, and I was worried the threads would make me uncomfortable again, I’ve just been getting filler since then.
