Actually, at first I only had double eyelid surgery, but around 6 months later, after the swelling went down, I really wanted medial epicanthoplasty. Since the double eyelid surgery had already been such a success, I had medial epicanthoplasty again at the same hospital without much hesitation. But because of my eye structure, the lacrimal caruncle would show easily, so he said he would only do a very small amount. I agreed at the time and went ahead with it. Even now, I still feel like the space between my eyes is slightly wide.. I don’t know if it’s due to my constitution, but the area where I had the medial epicanthoplasty folded like a hook, so it became like a scar that isn’t quite a scar?
Overall, my eyes look natural, so I’ve been living with them for 6 years, but I’m considering getting the medial epicanthoplasty redone somewhere else.
