The director was kind and explained everything thoroughly, but the cost is a bit high compared to other hospitals, so I’m debating... haha ㄷㅇㅇ told me to also consider putting in another implant They said instead of silicone, there is a custom implant?? and if they do the surgery tailored to me, it can come out natural and not obvious. But I don’t like implants themselves, so I passed ㅊㄷㅊ said it would be fully possible without an implant by using autologous cartilage, and recommended a method that reinforces the nasal tip and nasal dorsum at the same time. They said that if septal cartilage and ear cartilage are used together, the shape looks natural and the maintenance is good. This hospital said the recovery period is shorter than the first hospital and it can look natural relatively quickly haha ㅇㅂㅋ said that in cases where the nose condition has weakened a lot or there isn’t enough cartilage, using costal cartilage can shape it sturdily. However, they said that when harvesting costal cartilage, a scar may remain and there may be pain, so that part feels a little burdensome The doctor looked directly at my nose condition and said that if the cartilage condition is okay, I don’t have to use costal cartilage, but if I want something sturdy, they recommend using costal cartilage. I feel like every hospital has its pros and cons, so I’m conflicted. I’m also debating whether I should use autologous costal cartilage or not...
