Today is the 3rd day, excluding the day of surgery, Since I haven’t had the splint removed yet, I can’t tell how the line turned out ㅠㅠ
First of all, needless to say, I was nervous on the day of surgery,,^^ I kept trembling like an aspen leaf as I went in, and even after going in and lying on the operating table, I was still shaking. They removed my nose hair and disinfected my face and nose (when they disinfect inside your nose, absolutely do not breathe through your nose. People seem to find it really painful..), and then I gradually fell asleep, and I think I had a very comfortable and pleasant dream. But around the time it was almost over, I woke up, so I was a bit flustered, but it wasn’t as scary as I thought. (I’m someone who was more afraid of waking up in the middle than of not waking up from sedation.) After the surgery ended, I was moved to the recovery room, got an IV, and went home safely. From the first day to the next day, it was just sooooo hard to breathe. I experienced dryness all the way down to below my uvula. (Actually, it’s still like that now.)
D+1 Nasal cotton removal + antibiotic injection When they removed the cotton (Ouch! then they pulled it out, ouch! then they pulled it out. It hurts less than you’d think!), I tasted the happiness of breathing through my nose for exactly 10 minutes, and after that my nose got blocked again with blood and mucus, so I breathed through my mouth again. Even now as I’m writing this, my nose is blocked and I’m breathing through my mouth. And now the swelling has been gradually increasing, so my face has become puffy.
D+3 Antibiotic injection I’m going to get an antibiotic injection again today, and I wish they would remove the splint too, but the splint has to be removed later. But right now, more than the splint, my face is melting downward. The swelling is gradually moving downward, and maybe because of that, my face is.. melting down.. I should eat pumpkin more diligently..
I’ll post the next review after I get the splint removed.
