It’s been quite a while since I got double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. The photos above are before and after surgery. When I first had the surgery, I felt overwhelmed wondering when the swelling would go down, and I thought I still had such a long way to go. But time passed faster than I expected, and as I stayed busy day by day, now they just feel like my own eyes lol; At first, they felt awkward and I sometimes wondered, “Is this really me?” But these days, I feel like these eyes are simply my eyes. In the early period after surgery, it seemed like there was a difference in swelling between the left and right sides, but as the days went by, they became more natural, and as the swelling and bruising went down, I remember gradually feeling that the line was getting prettier. Back then, checking the line in the mirror every day felt like part of my daily routine lol;; From what I remember, once about 3 months had passed after surgery, I just stopped paying much attention to it. I think I felt like, “It must have settled by now, right?” and my anxiety about side effects also went away. Recently I met an acquaintance and they asked if my double eyelids were natural lolololol; I said they were natural~~~ lol;;; Then they told me my eyes were pretty lol;; Thinking about it now, if I hadn’t gotten double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, I’d probably still be living with my old eyes, right?,, You never really know how life will turn out. After surgery, things also went well for me at work and I gained confidence, so I actually feel like it helped me a lot in my social life. As I’ve lived, I’ve realized confidence is really important~ If anyone is considering eye surgery and their eyes are truly a complex for them!!! If it’s to that extent, I recommend getting surgery. But if you’re just thinking, “Other people got surgery and became prettier, so should I try it too?” .. I hope you think it through carefully and consider it a lot before getting it.
