1 month after epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty

In the end, I went through with the surgery, and one month has passed. Please use this as a reference if you’re considering epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty. I already had double eyelids, and although this was my first epicanthoplasty, my lacrimal caruncle was showing severely, so I had the surgery done using a restoration method. (Some people sometimes misunderstand and think the pre-op photo looks that way because I’d already had surgery. The very first photo is before surgery, and the two photos below are after surgery.)

- Disadvantages of surgery Severe swelling after surgery I had conjunctival edema There is still a red scar remaining

- Advantages of surgery The shape became more natural (especially the epicanthoplasty) The inner corner that had drooped came up, and the eye tail that had been raised came down, so my impression became softer I’ve been told my impression looks better My eyes became bigger

Once I recover, I naturally think there will be more advantages. That’s why I had the surgery, and now that it’s been a month, my eyes finally look like human eyes. The shape also came out cleanly, so I actually think it looks more natural than before surgery, but the fact that there is still a red scar bothers me a bit. I think this part will need a little more time.
