I started last July, so I’ve been doing it for a year now. I had a total of 4 teeth extracted, upper and lower, and then got orthodontic treatment. A lot of the spaces have closed, but maybe because my protruding mouth was originally severe, I don’t think it has changed dramatically enough to be obvious yet. People around me say it’s gradually changing, but to my eyes it still looks the sameㅠㅠ If the protruding mouth is severe, I think it’s hard to get a dramatic effect with orthodontic treatment alone. Once the orthodontic treatment is all finished, I’ll check the condition and look into something like chin tip surgeryㅋㅋㅋㅋ
For the orthodontic cost, I paid 5 million won at the beginning, including the Clippy-C metal braces fee plus the surgical fee, and I’m paying a monthly fee of 50,000 won each month. I was going to do ceramic, but it cost the same as Clippy-C metal, and even ceramic is still quite noticeable. Also, I heard Clippy-C hurts less and the orthodontic treatment goes much faster, so I chose this. It definitely doesn’t hurt much!
