Revision surgery for one side of my double eyelids ㅌㅋㄹ*

Before I entered university, I had my eyes done, but after 8 years one side started to loosen.. sob sob sob. A friend had a good result at ㅌㅋㄹ* so I went and had a consultation for only one side. They recommended doing both sides, but I wanted to minimize the fact that I had surgery from my husband as much as possible (so after the surgery I went on a solo overseas trip for a week), so I had only one side adjusted. I really had no idea.. Even at the same hospital, the doctor was different, and I should have looked into it properly, but I ended up with someone who was very careless. Before surgery they were supposed to draw the line, but because of a nurse's mistake I was just laid down on the operating table and an IV was inserted, and once they realized that, they said it was fine to just go ahead and did the surgery right then and there. The result was a small, uneven eye shape.. ha... As I said, because I wanted to finish as quietly as possible, I kept going with tape to even it out instead of getting revision surgery, and luckily one upper line did eventually come out, but I'm scared it'll disappear again. I keep thinking I should have just done both sides / even though I was already on the operating table, I should have mustered up the courage to ask them to redress the disinfected IV and check the design again / I should have properly looked into the doctor first and chosen carefully. Everyone, please be careful..
