I had nose surgery at ㅌㅇㅅ around mid-February this year! My previous nose wasn’t extremely low, but it was slightly semi-straight, so I had the surgery because I wanted to raise it a little and change it to a straight nose. Because I was busy with work, I didn’t visit many hospitals before deciding. I spent about 4 to 5 months without major complaints about the consultant or the hospital system, but at some point the inside of my nose became crooked and blocked my airway, so I visited the hospital. Rather than explaining exactly what the reason was, they just said it was slightly crooked and that it happens easily, and since it was a simple surgery that would be over in 30 minutes, all I heard was that we should schedule a surgery date and do the surgery..
Maybe it’s because there are a lot of people, but I can’t help feeling like they look things over somewhat perfunctorily... Before payment, they explained things in quite a lot of detail and even told me the names of medications related to my anesthesia side effects, but now they just throw around terms vaguely and proceed without explanation... Now about 7 months have passed, and the crooked area inside my nose that was previously crooked became crooked again, so while having surgery last Saturday, they also corrected the crooked nasal bridge.. The problem is, when I asked whether the slightly crooked nasal bridge could be corrected and whether I needed revision surgery, they only said, “While doing this surgery inside the nose, we’ll fix the shifted part.” So I thought it would be simple, but my appearance after surgery was the same as after my first nose surgery... swollen up, with bruising.....
Last time too, from the day after surgery, I was able to live without disruption, so I visited without even taking annual leave, but now I’m swollen from between the eyebrows and even bruised, so I don’t know what to do about work...
It’s not that they don’t provide care or that the service is bad, but I feel like there is some perfunctory handling, so it’s a bit disappointing.
