Forehead Lift 3-Week Review

<Before surgery (top), after surgery (bottom), bare face><Before surgery (top), after surgery (bottom), after makeup><Front view after forehead lift><Side view after forehead lift>It has been exactly 24 days since I had my forehead lift. My forehead wrinkles were getting deeper, so I got Botox, but then my eyes felt even heavier and I couldn’t open them well. I wanted to get incisional double eyelid surgery, so I went for consultations at hospitals famous for eyes. They all said double eyelid surgery was possible, but I would need ptosis correction together, and they recommended a forehead lift more than double eyelid surgery; I didn’t even know what a forehead lift was, so I kept searching on YouTube. I wanted to do it, but the word “lift” scared me, and because my husband strongly opposed it... I lived for several years thinking, “Well, I’ll just live with it.” But once I noticed the drawbacks, all I could see were my forehead wrinkles and the wrinkles on the bridge of my nose. In the end, after convincing my husband, I got it done. For me, more than cosmetic purposes, the biggest thing was wanting the heaviness of my upper eyelids to be resolved. The distance between my eyebrows and eyes was less than 1 cm. I kept looking up forehead lifts on YouTube, and rather than price, I looked only at skill and lift-specialized clinics. After consultations at several places, I decided to have it done at Eiting Plastic Surgery. Until the very end, I couldn’t decide whether to do only a forehead lift or to raise the line with the forehead lift and also get double eyelid surgery, but Director Kim Jong-gyu Jang had me close and open my eyes maybe 200 times, then recommended that I do only the forehead lift. Even while lying on the operating table that day, I thought dozens of times, “Is this right? When will it end?” but after they poured on the disinfectant, it was over in about an hour.. They said that because my forehead had no adhesions (I had only tried Botox once), the dissection was very easy. They said they dissected and lifted all the way to the bridge of the nose and glabella, so maybe because of that, the Avatar-like swelling lasted for 2 weeks. I took one week off and went back to work the following week, but the yellow bruising came all the way down to the edges of my face. It was obvious I had surgery, but to other people it felt like they couldn’t tell what I had done? My midface is on the long side, but so far I don’t feel like it has gotten longer. Because the scalp incision was made a bit farther inside, not right at the front, the scar isn’t visible unless you flip the hair back and look. + I have a lot of hair, so I can’t tell if there is any hair loss at the incision site either; More than anything, my eyes used to feel so!!! heavy, but now even without opening them by compensating with my eyebrows and forehead, I’m so happy that my pupils are fully visible. My husband strongly opposed it, saying visible incisional eye scars were absolutely unacceptable.. But when my husband said it was worth the money, I informed him that if it sags again later in 5-10 years, I’ll do it again^^ Seeing the bruising and swelling from a forehead lift, it is definitely not an easy surgery! Even now, 3 weeks later, I still feel like I had surgery~ (heaviness) I feel like about 80% of the sensation in my forehead has come back. My impression didn’t change dramatically like with double eyelid surgery, but my eyes feel more open, so I look refreshed, and above all, I feel so much more comfortable. It is not a simple surgery, so if you are going to do it, make sure to do it at a clinic specializing in lifts. I’m satisfied with Eiting Plastic Surgery, which only does eyes and lifts!
