I thought under-eye fat repositioning was an easy surgery, but I heard that improving a pigmented-looking issue like mine really needs to be done somewhere skilled. I visited because I was looking for a hospital that could address even the hyperpigmentation, and maybe because the director only performs eye surgeries, he explained things well by type and laid out the surgical direction in detail, so I decided to go ahead haha The under-eye fat repositioning surgery itself didn’t take very long, and the swelling, pain, and bruising were all pretty manageable, so during recovery I just went around wearing horn-rimmed glasses. Recovery was faster than I expected, and just looking in the mirror, I can feel that the uneven under-eye fat and even the dark circles have improved. People around me have even told me my impression looks better. Because I can see the improvement myself too, I even started having the illusion that maybe my condition feels better than before because of a placebo effect. I’m also hearing a lot that my complexion looks better! There’s a big visible difference without having gone through much hardship after surgery, so I’ve been recommending it to people around me. If I end up redoing my double eyelids later, I’m thinking I might do it here again..
