<Before double eyelid surgery><1 month later>I got buried-suture double eyelid surgery and non-incisional lower lateral canthoplasty! I originally had thin inner double eyelids, but as I got older, my eyelids gradually started to droop and covered the area above my eyes. Because of that, without realizing it, I started lifting my eyes with my forehead, and I even developed forehead wrinkles, so I quickly started looking into surgery. I originally had no plans to get double eyelid surgery, and since I prefer horizontally long eyes with a monolid-like look, I wanted a natural, inconspicuous line. (I wanted it to be thin from the front and extend long.) So for consultations, I mainly went to clinics with good reviews for natural-looking lines, and I visited 5 places in total. Two places said I had ptosis and needed eye shape correction, while the other three said my eye-opening strength wasn’t weak, so correction would be possible with just a thin line. In the end, I proceeded with Director Lee Hanbyeol, who best matched my eye condition and the line I wanted! I had high expectations because they’re known for having little swelling and bruising, and there really was almost no swelling. There was no bruising at all on the left side, and the right side was also clean enough that the bruising was barely noticeable. Rather, it felt a bit awkward in the early stage because of the overcorrection done for the non-incisional lower lateral canthoplasty, but now it seems much more natural. Since it was set as an inline crease, it may not be the direction people are going for these days, but for my image, it softened my look just enough without being overwhelming, so I’m satisfied!
