First surgery with autologous costal cartilage / 1-month review for long nose and bulbous nose

Why I used autologous costal cartilage for my first surgery First of all, I think the reasons people avoid autologous costal cartilage for a first surgery are scarring, considering revision surgery, and pain. But I don’t really wear revealing clothes, and I wanted to finish it with my first surgery, so I chose autologous costal cartilage, which is less prone to drooping. It’s not that there’s no drooping at all, but right now my nasal tip has come down slightly, and my columella has come down more. I wanted my columella to come down, so I’m satisfied. I really don’t recommend autologous costal cartilage if you’re someone who doesn’t tolerate pain well. I’m pretty good at tolerating pain, but even so, until week 2 I couldn’t get up by myself every morning. I could feel the muscles moving, broke out in a cold sweat, and had trouble breathing. It was a type of pain I’d never experienced in my life. Of course, it varies from person to person. Now, if I move a bit too broadly, it just aches a little. When I was researching my own bulbous nose, I was disappointed that there weren’t many front-view photos. So for those with a bulbous nose, I’m leaving front and side photos in hopes they’ll help everyone here! Of course, both are taken with the basic camera and unedited, and in the after photos I only lightly shaded the nasal tip. Before, my nose was so bulbous that I used to pile on shading.. lol Now I don’t even edit my nose, and it improved naturally, so I’m really satisfied. But this is absolutely not a surgery I recommend. And I don’t want to act like a broker, so even if you ask for hospital information, I won’t answer.. If you ask, “Is it this place?” I’ll only answer yes/no.

This review is for a surgery review pursuing a natural look.
