It's been 1 year since I had incisional double-eyelid surgery (my eyes originally had a bit of thick flesh above them, so I went to a director who had many good cases in reviews for eyes like that..) My swelling went down a little slowly. But when I look straight from the front, the line is okay. When I look downward or from the side, the double-eyelid area is too thick... The director says it's not a sausage eyelid, and also says the swelling will still go down more.. But it's not like I'm going to live with my eyes only looking straight ahead. I got the surgery to look prettier, but every time I look in the mirror or turn on the camera to check, it's stressful.. In real life it's not quite that bad, so people around me say it seems like it will go down a bit more and doesn't look like it failed.. They also say it might be because I had other surgeries in between and still have some body swelling.. But still, it's already been 1 year..? I think I'll try to reduce the swelling more for about another year while losing weight and exercising, and if it doesn't work, I'll have to think about revision surgery. But right now it's so stressful.. What do you think...? + Will the white scar? disappear over time..?
