Around 2010, I had rhinoplasty at some hospital in Gangnam using Gore-Tex, with ear cartilage for the nasal tip.
I asked them to make it look natural, and I was satisfied at first, but as the swelling went down and more time passed, it looked so natural that my friends only said I looked a little prettier than before. When I told them I had plastic surgery, they couldn’t believe it.
It was so natural that even though I paid a lot, there wasn’t much difference before and after.. It was to the point that getting filler in my nose would have been better than rhinoplasty..
So I decided on revision surgery. Gore-Tex was popular at the time, but I heard its downside was that it adheres strongly to skin tissue, so I was really scared and worried that I might not even be able to have revision surgery.
I went to consultations at several places, and each director seemed to pursue a different nose design. I ended up doing it at the hospital with a director whose design suited my taste the most. I had the revision surgery around 2016, and I think I liked it even more because the hospital had a specialist anesthesiologist on site. I’m not sure about now, but at the time I had it done by Director ㄱㄱㄹ at ㅂㄹㅇ, which was famous back then.
Now it doesn’t look too obvious, and I’m satisfied with the height being just right. They removed the Gore-Tex that had been in for several years and used donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage. Before, my nasal tip had a round, cute shape, but now the nasal tip has become sharper.
Since I was young, my low and round nose was a complex, but now I have no intention of having any more nose surgery and am living satisfied!
