I originally had double eyelids, but one side kept changing shape depending on eye swelling, which bothered me, so I had only that one side fixed with the buried-suture method. The doctor seemed to know exactly what it was as soon as he looked, and it ended quickly. Also, when I take photos, the side that was sutured does look subtly a little deeper.
