Review of first rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage

<Before surgery><Week 2>I had rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage with Director Park Jungyeol at Hit Plastic Surgery! First of all, I really liked that it was rhinoplasty with no additional costs! My original nose had the same height from the bridge to the tip, so I decided to get rhinoplasty. While watching Hit Plastic Surgery’s YouTube, I also learned about the nasolabial angle and alar lifting. I had never once thought about my philtrum angle or drooping alae in my life, but after the consultation, when I looked in the mirror, I noticed that the drooping alae and sunken philtrum were also making my mouth look protruded! I had heard a lot that you shouldn’t use autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage for your first surgery, but my nose was small, I didn’t have enough septal cartilage, and I wanted a satisfying result from my first rhinoplasty, so I used autologous costal cartilage. Since there wasn’t much pain or scarring at the rib area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested, this is a surgery I’m really satisfied with!

This review is a surgical review pursuing a natural look.
