Nose Surgery Reviews

Consultation review for ㅂㄴㄴ

Short nose / upturned nose Wanted reduction of the nasolabial angle and heightening of the nasal bridge Preferred look is natural to naturally polished, not flashy Silicone + autologous costal cartilage / donated costal cartilage They said they have not used ear cartilage during surgery since 5-6 years ago because it is too weak I think they said the principle is to implant it in a wedge shape at the nasal tip and connect it to the septal cartilage. For the cartilage to use for the wedge, if the septal cartilage is large, they can take some posterior septal cartilage, but mine seems small, so they recommended rib cartilage They said they cut it to minimize the warping phenomenon of rib cartilage They recommended autologous costal cartilage the most, and said that if donated costal cartilage is used, they might need to use up to 2 pieces Correct the upturned nose by lowering it as much as possible and fill the nasal bridge with silicone so it connects They did not decide how many mm of silicone, and said they would insert it to match the nasal tip They did not give a definite answer on whether the nasal tip would become pointed or not - it seems like it could They said bulbous nose correction means removing unnecessary tissue or the fat layer behind the nasal cartilage? - they said doing this makes the nasal tip slimmer, so it looks like the bulbous nose is corrected It felt like they focused more on “bulbous nose correction” than on aesthetics or reflecting the patient's needs Seems good for someone who wants a definite correction The consultant was kind, and the director also seemed sincere. They looked at the photos I wanted and realistically told me what degree of lowering was possible and not possible I think I might have decided on them if they had only given me confidence that my own nasal tip would not come out pointy
