I tend to like grooming and styling myself, but I never really had confidence in my appearance, and I felt that my self-esteem was low and that I was becoming withdrawn, to the point that I was aware of it myself, so I went to a lot of consultations at plastic surgery clinics. When I first went to Wannabe, I went in for the consultation while knowing almost nothing about cosmetic surgery, but the consultant in charge explained things to me so kindly, almost like she was looking after a younger brother. I had my eyes and nose done by different directors. For my eyes, Director Jang Cheol-ho, and for my nose, Director Cha Myeong-gyu each gave me separate consultations from the start. It was hard figuring out what I should get done, but in the end, for my eyes, I decided on incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and medial epicanthoplasty, and for my nose, I decided on hump correction and correction of my bulbous nose using donated costal cartilage. Since I was getting my eyes and nose done together, I was a bit worried about swelling and pain, but I went often for swelling laser treatments, so I think things settled pretty quickly. For my nose, aside from it being hard to breathe because of the nasal packing, it wasn’t that difficult. My changed face still feels unfamiliar, but when I think back to when I was full of complexes before, I definitely feel like I’ve gained some confidence. The downside is that my parents feel awkward about it
