My Breast Revision Surgery Record (1 Month Post-op)

What I want to emphasize from the start is ㅡEveryone, please, PLEASE go somewhere with lifetime aftercareㅡ That’s the one thing I want to say. The rest will mainly be about what I experienced, the psychology and feelings I went through, so I’ll write in a casual abbreviated style. Please understand and read on. 1. When I first received the rupture diagnosis For a short while then, I have no memory of being at the hospital I’m not exaggerating, I think I was blank for a moment. The explanation wasn’t really going into my ears But strangely, I remember the expression of the director who did the ultrasound. I think he looked at me with a bit of pity. (This was at a breast surgery clinic near my company) I was told it would be good to look for a hospital to have surgery at, so I contacted the hospital where I had my first surgery They said the aftercare period had ended, so if I wanted revision surgery, I would be charged again With the first surgery cost + revision surgery cost, it felt like almost 1.5 times as much to me? Around that much And even if I had it done there again, the free aftercare would only be for 1 year, so if I was going to have surgery anyway, I thought it made sense to look for a new place So I started looking for a new hospital 2. The online searching and footwork started again The criteria I set were 1. a hospital specializing in breasts 2. lifetime aftercare 3. availability of breast examinations. Those three were the main framework, and I had narrowed it down to two places, but after going to consultations there, I got curious about other places too So I added places I wanted to visit and went around to a total of four places But definitely, at a private clinic + a place with a breast surgery specialist, the solo director personally checked the ultrasound too They said aftercare was free once for life, and the consultant also gave advice generously So I really got the impression that it was a more responsible hospital At the somewhat larger hospitals, well, there was one director who did the ultrasound and another director who did the surgery The system seemed well established, but it was far from the kind of hospital image I had in mind So I wasn’t drawn to them So my choice was a private clinic + breast surgery + lifetime aftercare available + full CCTV recording access + 1 year of postoperative care = ㄱㄹ 3. My psychology + feelings before revision surgery I had decided on revision surgery, but honestly, maybe because my stress had reached its peak, I became extremely sensitive Even at work, if someone sent something with a small mistake, I could have just spoken nicely and asked them to fix it But I couldn’t manage my facial expression at all.. It was worse with my family, and anyway, I was really awful A total trash-person phase Every day I had nightmares about the implant bursting and leaking, and nightmares where I woke up in the middle of revision surgery going “huh!” with my chest open I don’t think I was in my right mind I did think about removing them, but maybe for about 10 seconds I absolutely could not imagine living with small breasts, so I dismissed that and started mind control The day before surgery, I played home workout videos so I wouldn’t think about anything and exhausted my body so I’d pass out asleep And I went to surgery with a solemn mindset, like someone going off to war 4. Current status at 1 month First of all, it didn’t hurt at all It wasn’t hard at all My recovery was so fast that I wondered if this was really okay I had been really concerned about having an inframammary fold scar But once the tape was removed and I saw it, it wasn’t a big deal It’s along the breast fold, so I thought if I manage it diligently for 1 year, it’ll probably be okay They told me not to use my arms for 1 or 2 weeks, but I didn’t listen and messed around way too much Nothing is wrong so far, but I got scared belatedly and am being careful now The hospital care is so good, and the director personally does all the dressings too It feels kind of like I had only ever been to motel-level hotels that just put “hotel” in the name, then went to a real 4-star-or-higher hotel for the first time The shape became much prettier too, and there had been slight asymmetry in the breast fold, but that was evened out too Since I was going to pay for surgery anyway, I’m applauding my choice to find a proper hospital again and have it done there It feels like I’m being compensated like this for all the stress and hardship I went through After receiving the rupture diagnosis, I secretly cried a lot at home With the hope that from now on, there will be more things to laugh about than cry about Revision surgery journal, end. Everyone here who is going through hardships after plastic surgery Let’s definitely be happy in the end!! Fighting, everyone Like 0 Empathy emoticon Translating Do you want to save this review? +0 This is a surgery review for a procedure pursuing reconstruction.
