1. Overall review I am very satisfied overall with having had the surgery! The shadowing caused by the fat protruding under my eyes, making it look like dark circles, was something that always bothered me, and I had considered various options besides surgery, such as fillers or collagen injections. In the end, after comprehensively considering the cost of surgery/procedures, duration, effectiveness, and possible side effects, and after receiving consultations here and there, I thought surgery would be the most effective, so I decided to have it. It was my first time having surgery itself, so at first even swelling for a day or two felt like a big deal, but looking back after time passed, the swelling went down very quickly, and I wondered why I hadn’t done it sooner.. 2. Pre-surgery review I was told that if I wanted to consult directly with the director before surgery, I would have to wait a long time, so I consulted with the manager via KakaoTalk. I was worried, but personally it was fine! Since it wasn’t a surgery that required designing an extremely complicated surgical method or design, it was sufficient haha And when I met the director on the day of surgery, he looked carefully again and explained various things well, so I felt reassured. 3. Post-surgery review I was worried about pain, but surprisingly, there was no pain from immediately after surgery through the recovery process. However, I also had fat grafting at the same time, and the thigh area where the fat was harvested had a lot of bruising (they say that is normal), so only that part hurt a little I was also worried about scarring, but this surgery involves making a small incision in the conjunctival area to begin with, so it cannot leave a visible scar, which was also good. As for swelling, after a week I could go about daily life, but I think it takes about 3 weeks before it feels like my own face haha
