Eye Surgery Reviews

Review after visiting ㄹㅂㄹ and ㅇㄴㅂ for my first double eyelid surgery

I already got double eyelid surgery in early January, but I’m posting a review both to get points and to record the consultations I went to since it’ll soon be 2 months. When choosing a hospital, I deliberately didn’t go to large hospitals, and even if there were 3-4 directors, if the place had that uniquely chaotic atmosphere when I went for a consultation, I was going to completely give up on having surgery there. I actually visited 3 places, but I’ll just write about 2~ I did actually consider between these 2 tooㅇㅇ 1. ㄹㅂㄹ (Director ㅇㅅㅇ) Incision + epicanthoplasty There were really a lot of people here, but the wait was about 10 minutes? I think I got the consultation faster than expected. The director said I didn’t need ptosis correction. They briefly mentioned that I really didn’t need it and moved on. They set the line around semi-out to in-out, and checked it while making the line on my eyes several times. I felt they made the double eyelid line in a naturally elegant way. The canthoplasty was also up to my choice, they said. They said my eyes now aren’t completely stuffy like small clam-shaped eyes, so if I wanted to increase the eye size itself, canthoplasty would be good. I also didn’t want to open everything with lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty and end up with eyes that felt too much, so I said I’d only do epicanthoplasty. Since I have multiple eyelid creases, they recommended incision for line fixation. The director also summarized? and explained recovery after surgery, and said using cold/warm compresses well and taking walks are the best. I asked for no reason when I could drink alcohol, and ended up promising to definitely hold off for one month They said they have CCTV. 2. ㅇㄴㅂ (Director ㅁㅇㅅ) Incision + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction I waited less than 5 minutes and had the consultation right away. The consultant showed me a variety of things organized in a PPT, like reasons why I need ptosis correction and before-and-after photos of incision double eyelid surgery. But isn’t that something the director usually tells and shows you first? I was curious about that, but still, since the explanation was detailed, it was good because I could learn about ptosis correction in detailㅇㅇ The director also looked at my eyes and said I need ptosis correction. They made the line with an instrument, and it felt like they explained only the parts that exactly needed to be done, point by point. Hmm... in terms of how it felt, I saw the director for about 3 minutes? and the consultant for about 15 minutes? But the line the director made was really pretty. Overall, everyone was kind, and I don’t think there was anything that made me feel bad. But they said there’s no CCTV...... ★For reference, everyone, before going to consultations, look through this community’s combined consultation review board as much as possible~ Even if it’s a hospital you’re not going to, after seeing “oh, this place says it this way, and that place says it that way,” when you go to consultations, you at least won’t be getting surgery while knowing absolutely nothing about how you’d like to have it done!★ But this is off-topic.. things to be careful about for everyone going to ㄹㅂㄹ and ㅇㄴㅂ..!! ㄹㅂㄹ is hard to book, so it’s better to reserve in advance, and ㅇㄴㅂ is on the top floor, so it’s better to go with plenty of time.. you know, right? If you miss the elevator once, you have to wait ages ^^..
