Even though my eyes had double eyelid surgery, the double eyelid line didn’t show at all and there was a subtle difference between both eyes, so I got revision surgery. The after-surgery photo is from week 3, and my constitution may play a role, but I really don’t have much swelling. Even right after surgery, the bruising wasn’t bad lol I think the surgery being done pretty neatly also helped. Since my goal was an innocent-looking eye shape, I did lateral and lower canthoplasty together, and if I had only done revision double eyelid surgery without the canthoplasty, I think it would have felt a bit lacking. Before, when I wore lenses, my eyes looked even more stuffy, so I almost only wore clear ones, but after surgery, as I tried doing light makeup and wearing lenses, the feeling really was different.
