<Before surgery><1 week><1 month>Hello, I’ve lived my whole life with so-called clam-shaped eyes My eyes aren’t exactly small, but because the horizontal length looked blocked off, I always felt like they looked stuffy whenever I took photos? So I’d been thinking about canthoplasty my whole life, but unlike double eyelid surgery, when I thought about opening up the outer corners of my eyes, it felt so scary that I think I only kept debating it for 5-6 years.... But no matter how much makeup I did or whatever else I tried, it didn’t improve, so I decided I should just get the surgery this time, and I went around to several places for consultations Honestly, even while going to consultations, I was 60% set on not doing it Two places said that, because of my eye structure, posterior canthoplasty either wouldn’t be effective or they could only open about 1 mm Another place said they could open 5 mm (but I’m going for a natural look, so 5 mm felt burdensome, and the gap from what the other clinics said was also too big) But here, they said they could open about 3 mm with posterior canthoplasty alone, not lower canthoplasty, so I liked that. Above all, the director seemed professional and kind, and the reviews looked natural and good, so I trusted them! It was a bit more expensive than other posterior canthoplasty surgeries But I trusted the words that it wouldn’t reattach and that the effect was good, and suddenly booked the surgery hehe.. I already had severe dry eye, so the first 1-2 weeks were a bit tough Now that it’s been a month, I can wear contacts and makeup! But I’m the type who worries a lot about health, so until my eyes fully recover, I’m planning to wear glasses a bit longer There is still some scarring, so I’m going to ask about it when I go for my 1-month follow-up (it’s okay with makeup on, but it does bother me a bit) Still, I’m happy because the part that used to look blocked off like clam-shaped eyes has definitely opened up naturally, and since only the outer corners were opened without lower canthoplasty, it doesn’t give that overdone plastic-surgery look! hahaha I’m satisfied with the surgery overall (now that a month has passed and I’m used to my eyes, I do start getting greedy and wish they were even bigger..) What do you all think? I’ll upload photos! Like 0 Empathy emoticon Translating Will you save this review? +1 This review is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
