<2 weeks><2 weeks><1 month><1 month><1 month>The main reason I had rhinoplasty was because I was concerned about my nose looking wide from the front + a low nasal bridge and nasal tip, and since I had a bulbous nose, I wanted the nasal tip to improve as much as possible without looking excessive! When I first went for consultation, I thought a bulbous nose naturally meant you also had to get alar reduction, so I consulted about that too, but they said having a bulbous nose does not automatically mean reduction is needed, and rather, if alar reduction were done in this state, it would be reduced in a way that does not match the proportions, so the overall proportions would collapse. They said that if I extended the nasal tip and raised the nasal bridge together, my concerns about both the low nasal bridge and bulbous nose could be sufficiently improved, so I decided to do that! During the nearly one month, since it was my first nose surgery, I had many things I was curious about, so I asked the clinic all sorts of questions, and even when I visited, I had tons of questions. It was really nice that they explained everything well so I could understand, but what I’m most satisfied with is definitely the result!! I gained confidence, started taking a lot of photos, and seeing it in photos, I can tell the bulbous nose improved a lot. During surgery, they did not recommend alar reduction, and not doing it actually looks more natural, just like the doctor said, and it looks good, so I’m glad I didn’t do it.. haha They say you really have to watch the nose for 6 months, but I like the line now too, so I just hope it stays maintained well… lol
