Review of nostril/alar base reduction surgery (internal incision)

<Last snap before design on the day of surgery><Last snap before design on the day of surgery><Day 13 after stitch removal and laser><Day 10 after stitch removal>When I looked in the mirror myself, I didn’t think my nostril wings were that wide, but whenever I took photos, I was so stressed because of my nose, so I got nostril/alar base reduction. I didn’t want to pay the cost of a full nose surgery just for nostril/alar base reduction, so I applied for an event at a place that was reasonably priced by my standards and went to consultations at two places, including the clinic mentioned in the link. At the first hospital, I said I only wanted an internal incision, but they said it would be good to bundle three types of alar reduction for the high 1.2 million won range? When I went for a consultation at the other clinic, Director Sung Ha-min very clearly said to do only the internal incision, so I asked, “Would it be okay to do only the internal incision?” He told me that for my nose, doing an external incision would not have much effect and would instead just leave scars that would bother me, so I trusted him and set a date right away!! On the first consultation day, the waiting time was an hour, so that wasn’t great, but everyone was kind, so I think I was able to wait. Especially the tall woman at the front desk was so kind! She truly deserves praise! (Her name was probably Kim Su-jeong??) During the pre-surgery design, I was lying on the operating table so I couldn’t see it directly, but the doctor kept drawing and erasing, designing it very meticulously. If everyone has something they clearly want, I think it would be good to say exactly what you want at this time. Because the round-trip time to the hospital and the recovery time after anesthesia were tight, I did it under local anesthesia. When I got one injection on each side where the internal incisions would be made, tears rolled down, but it was bearable. By my standards, the surgery started from the right nostril. At that time, maybe the anesthesia hadn’t fully taken effect yet, so it didn’t hurt, but I could feel the incision being made. When the left side was incised, I didn’t feel anything, but while suturing the left side, maybe the anesthesia was gradually wearing off, so there was a bit of pain from being pulled hard. But I didn’t want more injections and thought it would end soon, so I endured it.... It’s bearable, but if you have time, I recommend sedation^^ I think the surgery turned out really natural. I was unsure whether it had actually been reduced, but that’s because there’s swelling, and it will probably show more once the swelling goes down, right? In photos, it feels like I can see that the nostril wings have been reduced. ++ Around 2 weeks after surgery, I can feel that the nostril wings have become slimmer in real life even more than in photos!! I heard that nostril/alar base reduction absolutely has to look natural, so I think I chose the hospital well and had the surgery done well by Director Sung Ha-min! For everyone who is considering it, don’t worry just because it’s very affordable. I recommend the clinic!!!!
