Petit Procedure Reviews@petit-review

I got alar-reduction Botox, nasal-tip Botox, and mouth-corner Botox all done…

You can feel that it has become firm and that the muscles are paralyzed. But there is no dramatic effect.

Alar Botox

Expected effect: reduction in alar size

Effect I actually experienced: a very slight reduction effect (a difference that is almost impossible to tell in photos), and an effect of preventing the nostrils from flaring when smiling or breathing heavily

The second effect is bigger. It prevents the impression of looking unsophisticated when the nostrils enlarge and the alae flare. The paralysis caused by Botox toxin lasts about 6 months.

Nasal-tip Botox

Expected effect: lifts a drooping nasal tip

Effect I actually experienced: it does not lift dramatically like rhinoplasty, but it does lift. However, the injection procedure is really very painful.

Mouth-corner Botox

Expected effect: lifts drooping mouth corners

Effect I actually experienced: the mouth corners do not lift, but the drooping corners look more horizontal. The left side of my face droops downward overall, and the right side is lifted, and the mouth corners are the same. It works better on the right mouth corner.

Botox hurts no matter how you get it. It feels like being dug into with a sharp awl. I tear up a lot, and there were hospitals that applied numbing cream, hospitals that gave anesthetic injections, and hospitals that numbed with ice. I cannot know how much the Botox was diluted. At the most expensive place, they numbed with ice, so I was a bit dumbfounded. They even took photos lol
