After thinking about it over and over, I had double eyelid surgery on just one eye today at ㅇㄹㅈ in Apgujeong!! I'll leave a review with a few things I remember haha
1. A kind clinic When I went for the consultation, I felt like the staff were blunt, but when I visited again today, I don't think that was the case lol All the staff were kind! The director was kind when I went for the consultation too, but today he was even kinder! He helped me relax before surgery, and during the surgery he kept complimenting me for enduring it well!! It felt like the kind of gentleness you would experience at a pediatric dental clinic. I was really nervous, but thanks to that, I think the surgery went well.
2. Local anesthesia that was bearable The thing I was most scared of before surgery was the local anesthesia. Everyone says it hurts so much... But when I actually did it, it was tolerable!! The pain was about similar to the gum injection you get when having a wisdom tooth removed. I don't think you need to be too scared lol
3. Minimal swelling Even right after surgery, it didn't swell much!! My older sister was ready to tease me after seeing me all puffed up, but she said she was disappointed because I wasn't that swollen. It is a little swollen, but I like the line too!!
If the surgery settles well, I'll post another review!! I'll have to keep watching the progress, but so far I'm satisfied haha
