I think I used double-eyelid glue and double-eyelid tape almost all day, almost every day except weekends, for 2 years. Then my skin started sagging so much and my eyes were small, so I was really stressed and went for a consultation. The consultant said epicanthoplasty was necessary because of my Mongolian folds.. And since I had a lot of skin too, I decided to do the incisional method. I had it under local anesthesia, and it hurt less than I expected, but I really, really, really swelled up a lot. Still, the swelling in my right eye has all gone down now and it turned out pretty, so I’m satisfied, but I’m really stressed about the left because of mucosal eversion + swelling + the line looking strange ...
