Lower blepharoplasty surgery record (immediately after~day 8)

It's not my eyes, but my dad's surgery, so I don't have separate photos I'm writing down the record of having my dad get lower blepharoplasty so I can look back at it later too, and I thought it might be helpful for everyone here who is looking into surgery for their parents. Reasons for getting surgery -Under-eye sagging -Looking older, looking tired -Under-eye fat protrusion At first, we were deciding among under-eye fat repositioning, fat grafting, and lower blepharoplasty, but after going around to consultations here and there, lower blepharoplasty seemed more suitable for my dad than the other surgeries, so I had him get lower blepharoplasty at the clinic. Since everyone's eye shape and skin type are different, I hope you all take your parents and go to consultations in person before deciding on surgery. For people who can't go for consultations right away, I'll share why lower blepharoplasty was recommended for my dad. -Severe sagging Because of this, they said lower blepharoplasty was a more suitable surgery than under-eye fat repositioning. In terms of difficulty, under-eye fat repositioning < lower blepharoplasty is the bigger surgery (because lower blepharoplasty requires a skin incision). My dad is in his 50s, and they said if he had looked ten years younger than his current age and had good skin elasticity, under-eye fat repositioning would have been okay. But now his skin has already sagged because he hasn't been able to manage it, and the bulging area was on the larger side, so they said lower blepharoplasty was right for him. -The lower eyelid muscle had descended This is similar to sagging, but when you look at the face straight on, besides people who simply have bulging under-eyes, there are people whose under-eyes droop down like jowls, right? That was my dad.. So they said they needed to excise the loose skin while restoring the under-eye area. Once I heard the explanation to this extent, I felt even more that lower blepharoplasty was right. After surgery -> My dad was extremely nervous because it was his first surgery ever, but after the surgery, he said the pain wasn't as bad as he expected. My dad is from Gyeongsang-do..;; He has a personality where he does everything quickly, and maybe because of that, from the next day he tried to go to the morning exercise he normally goes to every day lol So I strongly stopped him. The clinic also emphasized that after lower blepharoplasty, management is absolutely, absolutely, absolutely!! important. For one month, you have to avoid excessive movement.. Even without seeing it, I know my dad would run, walk, and use those exercise machines, right? He would definitely do that, so I've been stopping him up to now. Effect -> Still, the visible effect is noticeable right away. Of course, because of swelling, there is a slightly taut? firm? feeling, but the sagging-looking skin definitely disappeared, and the under-eye area looks brighter too. My dad seems to like it even now and thinks it's okay. If I'm not next to him, he keeps trying to move his body too much, so I'm warning him Everyone, if you ever have your parents get surgery, make sure to warn them about this part.... The director said aftercare is everything. *Just in case, I'm saying this, but my dad had lower blepharoplasty because his skin sagging was severe. Being middle-aged doesn't mean you automatically need lower blepharoplasty, so I hope you go for consultations and make a good decision. Also, with middle-aged surgery, it's common to go in for an eye consultation and end up being recommended all sorts of things.. I was so surprised when, at other places besides this clinic, they asked if he wanted to do things like a lift while he was at it So I hope everyone doesn't send only their parents to consultations, but goes together, listens to the explanations, and chooses carefully.
