I feel a bit burdened by autologous costal cartilage, so I did say I’d use donated costal cartilage. But one hospital suggested adding donated dermis too, so I’m torn... I heard it gets absorbed, but in some ways, people having revision rhinoplasty may have skin that has become very thin, so there are cases where it’s used to reinforce that.... I wonder if I should think of that as an advantage.... When I look at reviews, it also looks slim and pretty;; Just because it’s dermis doesn’t mean you can’t get a defined bridge. So I’m really deliberating whether to use it or not, use it or not..
