Eye Re-Surgery

Should I avoid a clinic that felt off during a revision eye surgery consultation..?

Because I live outside Seoul, I had consultations at a total of 8 places, including my local area and Seoul. Among them, I was really looking forward to the clinic that had been my first choice, but it felt off, so I crossed it off..? Was that the right call..? First of all, when I went, there were a lot of people waiting. I saw two of them complaining, asking things like how much longer they had to wait, and the staff didn’t apologize, just said something halfheartedly and then went behind the desk and whispered among themselves.. When someone who looked a bit higher-up came and asked what was going on, they said nothing and laughed among themselves;; I could hear them angrily asking over a walkie-talkie? when the director was coming, and it seemed like they didn’t care whether patients heard it or not. Still, luckily, I think I got called in fairly quickly. The consultation itself was okay enough, and they explained things carefully, but the consultant kept putting down other clinics, so I was like, huh..? It felt like, why even bring this up? There’s a lot more I could say, but I can’t write details in case the clinic gets identified. In the end, I decided not to do it there and booked somewhere else, but I do wonder whether avoiding a place just because it felt off is the right thing. I also wonder if it doesn’t matter as long as the director’s skills are good. I could end up being the person making a complaint, and I’m also worried about how the clinic would respond then.. lol Choosing a clinic is hard
