Pros - My eyes definitely became bigger and more defined. Cons - Since I had the incision method done twice, the line looks unnatural and is quite noticeable, so I often recommend people around me to use the non-incisional suture method if they want a natural look. Oh, and at that time I applied ointment well to the double eyelid line, so there was nothing like raised keloid-prone skin along the line.
And at 25, I had an upper epicanthoplasty. They call it an upper epicanthoplasty, but they said it opens upward and sideways. There was one reason I decided to have this surgery. After double eyelid surgery (about 5 years later), the line had come down, so both inner corners of my eyes were not symmetrical, and the double eyelid line was clearer toward the outer side than the front. Honestly, I had the surgery without knowing much, so at first I couldn't tell whether it had gone well, and above all, I couldn't even judge whether both inner corners of my eyes were symmetrical. It felt like the effect didn't show clearly compared to the procedure cost? Pros - The effect was not dramatic, so I wasn't really noticing it, but acquaintances I met after a long time said my eyes somehow looked naturally bigger. (They did not know I had surgery.) And as time passed, even though the inner corners of both eyes were not perfectly symmetrical, when looking at each eye individually, I liked that the height matched the rear double eyelid line. (I compensate for asymmetry between both eyes with makeup.) Cons - I am more satisfied as time goes by, but one downside is that because I didn't apply ointment well, the surgical site has raised marks that are noticeable.. Make sure to apply ointment well!
