I thought writing too detailed a history might not fit the nature of the board, so I wrote it this way. They had opened a clinic called ㅋㅋㄹ*. (The clinic name is four syllables.) It was one of the two directors. Originally, this doctor was at a large hospital, and about 2 years? after I had surgery at the time, they opened their own clinic and left. That hospital told me that. They used Gore-Tex and septal cartilage. I had only hoped for a slight dorsal hump to be refined and improved, not for my nose to just be made sharply high, but in the end they forced the nasal tip up too much without considering how thin my skin was or the balance. I used to hear a lot that my original nose was pretty, and the original purpose was rhinitis treatment with an optional cosmetic part, but it ended up looking obvious to anyone that I had my nose done. People around me asked why I paid money to make it look obvious when it was not even better than beforeㅠ But because they did this to thin skin, as time passed, I was busy and forgot about it, then I started feeling like something at the nasal tip was showing through, and after several more years, it showed through overall. If anything was fortunate, it was that my constitution did not develop inflammation or side effects..
This was not what I wanted, and first of all I was worried about what would happen later. I had no intention of going back to that doctor, so I did not go back, and I am writing this to at least leave information here. Before this doctor moved, it was a plastic surgery department inside a large hospital, but this doctor was an otolaryngology specialist among them, so I chose them with a focus on rhinitis, but wow.. They say Gore-Tex was a material that became popular like a brief trend around that time. If you have weak skin, please really reconsider implants. You need sufficient consultation with the doctor and to clearly know the maximum boundary of what you can tolerate. You will usually hear that Gore-Tex adheres well but is somewhat difficult to remove. Removal is not extremely difficult, but if it belongs anywhere, it does fall under difficult cases. It takes more time. Because it has many small pores, new tissue grows into them and adheres that way. Everyone has different skin strength and elasticity. If you have been told, like me, that your original shape was already fine, or that it can just be covered with a procedure, please seriously consider not doing it. Or, if your skin elasticity/thinness is strong and the surgical method is not one that forcefully ties cartilage and inserts an implant, that might be a comparatively better choice.
I wrote this long post as concisely as possible. Fortunately, I have a nasal bridge and do not have other correction issues like an upturned nose, so I am removing everything to return it to something like my original nose. But because it is Gore-Tex, they say more detailed work is needed. My nose did not even need an implant; it only needed the dorsal hump slightly refined and finished, but this doctor decided to just heighten it, seriously.... ha. At the time, I did not think too seriously about plastic surgery and just thought I only needed to do my nose, so it was my mistake that I did not visit more places and only looked at a large-scale hospital.
Everyone, you are probably already fine enough as you are. Unless it is a functional problem. You definitely have your own features and charm. I think plastic surgery carries a big risk to go through with it to the point of erasing those things, and it also takes a lot of time and emotional energy. So please, please weigh everything, really weigh it countless times, find your strengths, and then decide.
