I thought I was being pretty thorough and went to 5-6 clinics Most of them recommended double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is short, they recommended a natural line or an in-out line. There were also clinics that didn’t recommend ptosis correction. Only the last clinic I went to recommended an upper canthoplasty + double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction, and as if I were under a spell, I even went ahead with the upper canthoplasty. The distance between my eyes is also short, and no other clinic had recommended it even once, but they said it’s different from medial epicanthoplasty and that I needed it for the line to be clear from the beginning, so I did it. I knew medial epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty weren’t that different, and I knew my eyes could look closer together, so I asked the doctor if they wouldn’t look too close together, and they said it would be fine After getting it done, I looked it up and found that with upper canthoplasty side effects, scarring can actually make the front part of the line look like an outline in many cases I regret it so much I would have been okay with an inline crease too Ha... I don’t want to get revision surgery or keep worrying about my eyes, but has anyone had a good result after getting upper canthoplasty even though they didn’t necessarily need it? My heart is pounding so much I can’t sleep,,, I asked them to make it look natural
