Hi everyone! I had medial + upper canthoplasty on January 28, and I don’t know which surgery caused the issue, but my right eye doesn’t close fully Lagophthalmos...? (I just called it my eye not closing, but apparently there’s something called lagophthalmos??) During the first week I couldn’t really tell because of the swelling, but this week while video-calling a friend, my friend said, “Doesn’t your right eye seem to close slowly?” so I found out. Today, while lying down, tears keep streaming from my right eye◠‿◠... Could this be something the clinic can provide aftercare/revision for? They did mention aftercare/revision after 6 months I’m wondering if it really is something that can be adjusted then. If anyone has had a similar issue, I’d also like to hear advice My eye is so dry. Should I put in eye drops often?
듀 I got lagophthalmos in one eye after eye shape correction, and they said it can normally be like that for about 1 month? But after a month passed, it really did get a bit better. It doesn’t close perfectly, maybe less than 1 mm? About 0.5 mm doesn’t close. If it’s still like that after 6 months, wouldn’t revision surgery be possible? But even if I got revision surgery, I don’t think I’d do it at the clinic that caused? the lagophthalmos.
함뿌 [@] Oh, that happened to you. It really seems like you have to wait a month for eye surgery... Right, even in my opinion, I think I’d be a bit hesitant about getting revision surgery... Thank you so, so much for the advice.
