I had nose surgery on October 2, so now it’s been about a month? haha It was really hard sleeping flat on my back for the whole monthㅠ (How long do I have to keep sleeping straight on my back..?ㅠㅠㅠ)
First, my review up to the one-month mark is that the swelling seems to change every week haha So I’m going to write down what I felt by each week haha
Week 1 - It was hard to breathe, and it did seem like my nose had gotten higher, but it also seemed way too big, so every day while looking in the mirror, my emotions went up and down... I just kept worrying whether it was botched or whether it was swellingㅠㅠ For me, suture removal hurt so X100000 much Some people said it didn’t hurt, but it hurt so much for me that the person removing the sutures felt really sorryㅠㅠ Still, they removed them as quickly as possible, so I went “heup!” and endured it, but tears ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ just rolled downㅠ Anyway, from week 1, all I remember is swelling and suture removal ㅋㅋㅋ
Week 2 - Compared with week 1, my nose seemed a bit smaller, but it still felt fat and heavyㅠㅠ I really wondered if it had gone wrong, but friends around me who had nose surgery comforted me and said week 2 is when there’s a lot of swelling, so not to worry, so I tried to avoid looking in the mirror as much as possible! Compared with week 1, breathing and daily life were better, but it still wasn’t completely comfortableㅠ
Week 3 - I had taken photos each week to see the changes, and when I compared it with week 1, my nose had become much more natural haha I could still feel that there was swelling, but it was livable haha I also went around wearing makeup
This week, week 4! - Really haha When I look at my pre-surgery photos and my current photos, I feel like my nose really got much higher and prettier haha At first I worried a lot, thinking maybe I shouldn’t have done it, but now I think I’m so glad I did it. My friends also say the nose line suits me and looks pretty haha so I’ve been feeling good haha They say swelling can continue to go down for two to three months, so I’m going to set the worries aside and wait haha For those who had nose surgery, don’t get stressed during weeks 1 and 2 like I did ㅋㅋㅋ Once the swelling goes down, it changes haha The side view has really gone down a lot, but from the front I can still see some swelling, so I’m going to wait a little longer~ I thought people might be curious about the swelling shape from the front and side, so I’m posting them all for now haha I hope this helps..ㅎㅎㅎ (There is still swelling in the front view, right? It’ll get smaller, right?)
