I finally had medial epicanthoplasty restoration, which I’d been hoping for for over 5 years. I still have the stitches in now and I’m just waiting for the day they come out... I’m originally the type who swells easily, so the incision area swelled like crazy and it looked like I had a blister at the inner corner of my eye, so I was really worried, but now that 4 days have passed, it has gone down a lot. Still, the area between my eyebrows is super swollen lol. Because of the swelling, my nasal bridge basically disappeared. My intercanthal distance was originally about 3.1, but I just measured it with a ruler and it came out around 3.8 lololol. It’ll probably shrink a bit once the swelling goes down. But honestly, maybe because I was stressed about it for so long, 3.8 is better than 3.1... I hope it doesn’t shrink too much. I think the shape looks okay, but I just hope there’s as little scarring as possible Please, I really don’t ever want to lie on an operating table for plastic surgery again...
