Originally, I went in thinking I only wanted to neatly remove the double chin that was all I could see on my face. But when I had my V-lift consultation, the director wasn’t someone who looked only at the fat under the chin. They assessed a broad range, including around the mouth, the side cheeks, the jawline, and under the chin. They explained that simply pulling everything could make the cheekbones look wider or make the eyes look awkward, and suggested adjusting it naturally to suit my facial shape, so I decided to proceed. Immediately after surgery there was no bruising, though my face was somewhat swollen. It went down quickly, and the entire lower-face line—from around the mouth to the tip of the chin—connected naturally as if it had always been my face. It didn’t become unnaturally pointy only at the jawline; the line from the mouth to the chin tip felt naturally connected. Great great...!
