While looking for a breast surgery clinic, I also researched the surgeon's experience extensively, and booked a consultation because Dr. Kim Ji-yeon at Wish was said to have performed breast surgeries for a long time. Honestly, seeing only numbers such as years of experience had not meant much to me, but after the consultation I understood a little why experience matters. She pointed out things I had not considered. I went in thinking only about size and shape, but she looked at my body type and discussed the breast position, left-right asymmetry, and skin condition as well. I especially liked that when I described the style I wanted, she did not immediately start talking about implants; she first identified what I wanted to change about my current breasts. Her answers to my questions were very specific, and she explained why results can differ between people even with similar procedures, which made it easy to understand. Her 33 years of breast-surgery experience did not feel like just a number; I could sense it in these details during the consultation. I also liked that she would perform the surgery herself. From the consultation through surgery, having one surgeon personally take responsibility felt quite significant to me as someone considering a first surgery. The consultation with Dr. Kim Ji-yeon was calm and realistic overall, which I liked.
