It has not been long since I had surgery. Compared with setting the surgery date and actually getting the surgery, the time I spent looking for hospitals and going to consultations felt so long. It actually was long too.. lol I am the type who, to put it nicely, is cautious enough to worry even about the weather on the surgery day lol and to put it badly, extremely timid.. Even after consulting at a hospital and thinking, does this seem like a decent hospital? I think I only decided it seemed like a place worth having surgery at after searching and looking into that hospital a lot. Usually for places like that, I went for consultations twice lol
At first I did not really have a sense of what surgeries I needed to get eyes I would be satisfied with, but as I went to consultations, most places recommended double eyelid surgery and canthoplasty. From then on, I went to consultations mainly for double eyelid surgery and canthoplasty.
Now it has been over a month since surgery, and the swelling has gone down to some extent. Compared with before, my eye shape honestly feels like it improved dramatically lol, so I am satisfied. Personally, I think surgery has high satisfaction when someone who truly needs it, like me, gets it, but during consultations, I saw people who already had pretty eyes or noses and still wanted surgery. If people like that get surgery, I feel like their satisfaction may be a bit lower? Only get it if you really feel you need surgery, like I did.
