At first, after the surgery, it felt amazing and I kept waiting for them to settle, thinking I wanted to get back to walking around comfortably soon. But 3 weeks later, I woke up and one breast had swollen up enormously, so I went straight to the hospital where I had the surgery that day. They said they should open it up first, so I went under general anesthesia one more time, and when I woke up, they said a blood vessel had burst and blood had pooled inside.. So I had surgery twice on just one side, and for 3 months I didn’t move around much, didn’t lift heavy things, and never ran. In the 4th month, I went about life as usual, and now, 2 years later, everything is fine. When I think back to that time, it felt incredibly long and I spent 4 months doing nothing but worrying, but now that there’s nothing wrong, honestly, I think I’m glad I did it..
