Today is day 9 after my surgery (revision / incisional double eyelid + ptosis correction), and I had a follow-up appointment, so I went to the hospital at 15:30. The doctor said my eye asymmetry had gotten worse than two days ago and that it seemed like the ptosis correction on my left eye was undercorrected, so he said we should operate right away. At 4, I had additional ptosis correction only on the left side. He said he only tied the middle muscle additionally. But right after the surgery, an extra crease that wasn’t there before appeared higher up, and I couldn’t open my eye at all… seriously… The doctor was also flustered because it wasn’t the result he wanted, and this time he said we should release everything on both sides right then and redo it… It was 6 o’clock then. He said even the right eye, which had turned out well, needed to be redone now. The reason was that the opening strength of both eyes is different now, so the left eye won’t open as much, and he said both ptosis corrections need to be released and redone. I had just come out of surgery and the anesthesia hadn’t even fully worn off, but he was saying we should operate again, so I wondered if it had gone wrong, and I was so scared I started crying. For now, I said I didn’t want to do it right now and that I’d come back next week, and I showed him all the selfies I had taken every day since the surgery. Looking at the photos, the swelling difference on the left started from day 6, so he said it may not be undercorrection but another cause, and that we should wait a bit. He said it seemed like some other event, like a stye, may have occurred… He said he really doesn’t know the exact reason at all. So this is my current state.. He said when he reopened it during the repeat surgery, there was no inflammation at all inside… I looked it up and if something is wrong, they say it’s better to do an early correction within 2 weeks before the tissue adheres… The doctor said that if I want surgery, he’ll do it again even on Monday, but since I don’t know why my eye is like this, I’m scared to do it again… I’m so depressed.. Could it really be swelling? The inner corner of my eye feels extremely tight and swollen. If you look at my posts, there’s also a photo from yesterday in the post I wrote yesterday

소원어스기 Where did you have it done? From looking at the photos, it absolutely doesn’t seem to be done well.. Secondary correction is the right idea, but...
환기러러러 [@소원어스기] It doesn't look like ordinary swelling. It’s not a stye either, so why would the eyelid front edge start swelling from day 6?
kakaot Undo it quickly!!!
스미니22 How are you now?
환기러러러 [@스미니22] It got completely better, thankfully!
스미니22 [@환기러러러] Oh, that's a relief. It looked so serious. It improved in 10 days. Take good care!
환기러러러 [@스미니22] Thank you
