6 years ago, I had teardrop textured implants inserted through an areolar incision at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong. I think I visited about 4 or 5 hospitals because of breast surgery. Each hospital recommended completely different sizes. One place said I needed 300 cc to show cleavage, and I was told at two other places that I should put in 250~260 cc. In the end, I got 225 cc at the clinic (I wanted to put in more, but the doctor strongly said 225 cc would look the most natural for me, so I went with 225 cc) and I’m very satisfied. At the time, all the other hospitals said they would do the surgery through an axillary incision, but only this clinic said I needed an areolar incision. (They said that because the direction/angle of my breasts? was wide apart, if implants were inserted through the armpit, both breasts could end up even farther apart ㅠㅠ)
Anyway, after surgery, I didn’t have anything like a blood drain?, and I didn’t have pain, so there was no difficulty with daily life. Because the implants weren’t inserted through the armpit and made to travel a long path, I think it was done neatly without things like tissue damage.
However, since my skin is on the thinner side, at first I was a bit startled because I could feel something like the implant shell, but as time passed, maybe because I gained weight or because it settled well into the tissue, that was no longer there. Anyway, overall I’m satisfied.
